For one of my university modules, I had to create a manifesto about something personal. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. Coming up with a concept that truly felt mine had me completely stuck. Then, in a moment of pure creative enlightenment, while casually munching on an apple, it hit me.
Why not make the entire project about apples and their connection to me? Almost like Einstein’s falling apple moment, the idea just clicked. I went all in, uncovering unexpected parallels between apples and my own experiences. The result? A fully realised artist’s book that brought this quirky yet deeply personal concept to life.
